Today Hijackulator gives you the opportunity to play the little-known Spectrum game Giant Bee Goes Skiing. Click the applet window, then space to start.
OK, so there are a few bugs, but it demonstrates the principle of 'hijacking' - adding traps to the emulation and escaping to native code, transparently to the emulated Spectrum. Note that (in the road section at least) the giant bee sprite is not simply overprinted on top of Horace, but writes to the screen are disabled while the 'display Horace' routine runs.
